Hello, my name is Travin A. Jones hence the name of the business; TAJ Photography.  I have loved photography since I was 16, however, did not get the confidence to share my gift with the world until I was about 40 years old, but hey, better late than never, right.  I was always the guy that if you did not want to be in pictures you did not want to hang around me.  I would do entire impromptu photoshoots with friends on an iPhone and I would always hear, "You have a great eye you should make a business out of this!"  I would always smile and think to myself, "with all the great photographers out there who would pay attention to me?" Well, time went on and I grew up, got married, had kids, divorced and in time got married again to who I truly believe is my soul mate.  She saw my love for photography and invested in me.

 

One day (about three years ago), I came home from work to find a box on my bed with my wife standing there smiling.  When I opened the box it was a camera.  My first real camera a Canon T5, her only words were, "Now go and make my money back."  So, I took that camera and went to YouTube and searched everything I could on photography and editing.  After countless hours of study I got my first shoot and TAJ Photography was born!

I am so grateful to God for the place he has brought me to in three short years. In three short years I have done everything from fashion shows, weddings, graduations, sporting events, editorial and so much more. Yes, there were times I thought I was going to crash and burn, but through his grace I made it through so that I could still be here to capture your memories.  With all of that said, I want to let you know that I look forward to getting YOU in THIS LENS!!!
